BE CONTENT...
Is being content a natural state of mind and well being for you? Paul writes that he had to learn to be content and mentions it twice in back to back sentences, driving his point home. Is Paul saying to be content is learnt behavior? I believe he is. Learn to be content, like Paul, in plenty and in need. Be content in your prayer and certain knowledge of Jesus.

I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want.
