A couple of years ago I had a prayer appointment with a lawyer who was in a very bad personal situation.
Someone caused this person a lot of emotional distress.
I suggested we reenact a court case with the purp in the doc.
I asked this person if they would like to be
1. the defense lawyer,
2. the prosecuting lawyer or
3. the judge.
After thinking about it for quite a while, the lawyer quietly said,
“I just want to walk away from the case and shake the dust off my feet”
Brilliant…
Forgiveness.
Done and dusted.
“Case closed”
